På TV skriker republikaner om att de vill ha kvar sitt sjukvårdssystem och Mike Pence säger att de håller på att "fastna i socialistavgrunden som redan slukat stora delar av Europa". Och jag är så irriterad och paff av den här kassa människosynen att jag inte ens har ord för det. Att USA skulle vara någon slags hemort för frihet är bara en stor lögn. "We live in a free country". Yeah, right. Nåja, folk springer runt där - en femtioårig bakåtsträvande man t.o.m. utklädd till någon slags George Washington-figur ser det ut som - och klagar på att alla ska få sjukvård och "varför kan inte alla betala för sig, precis som jag?". Nej, fy fan alltså. Lätt för folk som kan betala för sig att säga sånt här, medan andra går runt och jobbar häcken av sig på tre jobb för att kunna leva någorlunda drägligt. Det är som Michael Moore när han frågar politiker om de skulle skicka sina barn ut i kriget. En bara fnyser och gör en min som solklart säger "vad fan, tror du det eller?". Som Depeche Mode skulle ha sagt, what makes a man hate another man? Lite mer jävla respekt och empati skulle för fan inte skada.
